The top on our list is a portable computer or a laptop designed for multitasking, studying, and entertainment.
A laptop is the cornerstone of modern college life. It’s essential for writing papers, creating presentations, researching online, and attending virtual classes. Many professors now use online platforms for assignments and communication, making a reliable laptop a necessity. Look for one with a long battery life, sufficient storage, and a lightweight design for easy portability between classes.
2. Scientific calculator
Will you need a calculator in college? Wait, if you have already prepared for college, check your belongings to see if your calculator is there. You don’t want to be counting your fingers during complex mathematical calculations. I have just saved you.
3. Noise Canceling Headphones
Most parts of college environments can or are noisy, a loud dorm, a bustling library, a crowded café, just to mention a few. Why you need it: A good desk lamp is essential for late-night study sessions, especially if your dorm room lighting is inadequate. I remember the day I was thirsty during lectures. I have to walk down from the fourth floor, where we are having lectures that day to the canteen to buy water. That will take a couple of minutes right, imaging walking back up.
If you don’t add water bottles to your college stuff, then you have a story to tell one day. Find a reusable water bottle that is eco-friendly and cost-effective, models with filters ensure you always have access to clean water, even if you’re unsure about the tap water quality.
16. Printer
Not all processors will require printed copy assignments, but printers are necessary for printing your course study materials and letters. This is not a necessity, but it’s helpful.
