How To Check BECE Placement On Your Phone

1. Visit cssps.gov.gh and click on “Check Placement”
2. Enter your BECE index number and examination year. Your index number should end with the last two numbers of your examination year. For example, if your index number is 1000000000 and the examination year is 2024, enter the full index number and then add the last two numbers of the examination year like this 000000000022. 
3. Proceed and enter the serial number and pin you’ve purchased in the correct boxes.
4. Click submit to show your SHS placed and your enrolment form.
5. Print both forms by clicking “Print placement” or “Print enrolment form”

How to Do The BECE Self Placement

The BECE self placement module is only available for BECE graduates who haven’t been selected automatically by the computerized placement system, according to the Ghana Education Service (GES). The self placement makes it easier for the candidates to choose from the available schools of their choice.

The self placement procedures is really simple and easy. Follow the steps below to do a self placement

1. Visit the CSSPS website at cssps.gov.gh and select check placement.
2. Enter the serial number, pin and the examination year then click submit
3. Click on the self placement module or wait to be redirected automatically
4. Select preference [day or boarding] based on your preference, will be provided with a list of all the available schools. 
5. Select your preferred school and click on confirm. 
6. Print your placement and enrollment forms.

What to Do After Printing The Placement and Enrollment Forms

After successfully printing your form, you will need to fill out part of the enrollment form. The form consists of four(4) sections.

1. Section A, Your Personal Information.
2. Section B. Your Parents’ or Guardians’ Information.
3. Section C. It includes your interest. Your witness, mostly your SHS headmaster, has to endorse the form.
4. Section D of the form will be completed by the headmaster of your SHS.
